Working on COGNIPLANT and ACROBA I have come to conclusion that the problems set out in these projects for industries are certainly not the mechanistic toy problems that have been and are being investigated in academia at Harvard and others - they are as complex as bolstering mankind in addressing current pandemic, climate change and energy shortage.
In this respect general AI and deep reinforcement learning can be a nice tool but certainly not a panacea.
